Phase Fiasco
8HP 4 channel clock divider/multiplier
Skalman
The Skalman is a compact 8HP clock processor built on the Electrosmith Daisy Seed and programmed in C++ for precision timing and stability. It provides four independent clock channels, each capable of division or multiplication, making it a versatile tool for rhythmic modulation in Eurorack systems.
The module operates in two modes:
Internal Clock: Dial in a tempo directly with the Tempo knob.
External Clock: Feed an incoming gate signal via Clock In for synchronization with other modules.
Each of the four outputs can be set to a specific division or multiplication relative to the clock: /4, /3, /2, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x. Channel parameters are adjusted via dedicated control knobs or externally modulated with CV inputs, enabling both precise configuration and dynamic performance control.
Key Features:
Four independent clock outputs (gate signals)
Selectable divisions and multiplications: /4, /3, /2, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x
Internal or external clock operation
CV control per channel for modulation of division/multiplication
8HP width, streamlined interface, and low-latency DSP design
Skalman is designed as a straightforward, reliable clock utility that adapts easily to both sequencing and performance setups, giving you flexible rhythmic structures with minimal patching complexity.
This isn’t a pristine sports car module. It’s a Volvo 240 of distortion: boxy, stubborn, and ready to survive anything you throw at it.
